We're consuming more online videos then ever before, thanks to the C-word.

But producing content with the ever changing Covid restrictions here in Australia can be a little tricky to navigate. Here are Clothesline’s tips on how to create killer content without having to leave your desk (or kitchen table), and ways to start thinking differently about your next production in 2021:

  • Animation: You don't need talent or a location, just your brilliant idea. And if you're short on those, we've got a swags of them. There are a tonne of different animation styles to suit all types of budgets. Explainer animations are a great way to tell the story of your brand or product without requiring a film shoot.

  • DIY home filming: With the right direction, and some great post production home videos can look AMAZING, and can help with telling truly authentic stories. Here’s Clothesline Directors, Jac and Claire, talking you through how to film from home and present well on camera. Hope it helps you with your next video!

  • Studio shoots: Studios are great places to film. They're highly controlled environments, which means you can keep them Covid Safe. They also look professional and are a enjoyable work environment. Think on tap coffee and now sound interruptions. Heaven!

  • Remote Shooting: With the right amount of planning, you can film just about anywhere around the world. As long as there’s a camera and fast internet, it can be done! Producing shoots via Zoom is becoming the new normal. It’s easy and can be done from anywhere, as long as you have the right crew on the ground. Clothesline have spent decades producing TV around Australia and the world, we have a far reaching network of passionate creatives who have helped us pull together some big shoots with us all around the world.
