How to host your next event online via video.

2020 has been a strange year.

With large gatherings of people off the cards, and travel both international and domestic, being banned or restricted, companies have been trying to work out how to keep their annual events going ahead, despite the fact that no one can be there in person.

Our solution: turn your event into a video, a live video stream or even both!

Recently, we had a large company come to Clothesline to  ask if we could turn their annual demo day event into a video. They had a few challenges: Some of the talent that they wanted to appear in the video were overseas, they needed the video to be produced quickly, they wanted the set to look similar to the one that they would use at their live events and they wanted to host  a live stream conversation off the back of the video. We had the answers.

Filming talent remotely:

Most events feature international or interstate guests but at the moment, travel just isn't possible. The answer to this issue is remote filming. If your talent is global, you can still shoot globally without having to travel. Clothesline has access to local  camera operators and remote studios around the world.

Live Stream Conversations:

Live streaming has become a necessity with the current travel restrictions in place. And with so many options, from Facebook to Hop In, it’s  never been easier. You can live stream your entire event, or produce  an event video package and then live stream the conversation off the back of the video with a live Q&A with your audience

Fast Production:

Most companies come to us with an idea in mind of how they’re going to run their event as video but are not sure how  long it will take to create as a video. If you’re able to give us a rundown of your event, we can  provide you with a timeline. But as a ballpark estimate - for an hour long event video, you’re looking at a three week production timeline.

Set:

You want your set to look good and there are a few ways you can do this.

  1. Incorporate brand palette of colours: you can use the colours that exist within your branding on set through couches, pillows, plants etc.

  2. Monitors: Screens are a great way to showcase your logo or graphics. They can sit on a screen at the back of the set and add colour and interest to the set.

  3. LED Screens: These screens can add graphics or colour to your set to make it more engaging and interesting to look at.
